THERA-exercising - an elementary component of the complete therapy

Daily movement is essential to keep the function of our body intact and remain active. This applies particularly to people with restricted movement abilities due to an existing basic disease (e.g. multiple sclerosis, stroke) or after accidents (e.g. paraplegia).

THERA-Trainer - Lack of exercise

People with disabilities often can not fulfil their natural need for movement. And lack of movement can be the main cause of a whole number of health disturbances like circulatory disturbances, cold legs, stiffness in joints etc. As a consequence of this you move to a lesser extend. Exercising on a regular basis can help you to escape from this cycle of lacking movement.

THERA-exercising directly after rehabilitation

Physicians and therapists affect your general condition during the rehabilitation positively. At the end of this intensive clinical period it is absolutely essential to keep or rather increase the achieved level of exercising and the state of health at home as well.

Part of an effective and successful therapy are always several components:

  • an intact social environment
  • medical attendance
  • medication
  • manual therapy
  • therapy with movement exercisers

 THERA-Trainer - Therapy success

With daily exercising with your THERA-trainer you can...

  • regulate your muscle tone (reduce spasms)
  • improve your strength and condition
  • compensate right-left-deficits
  • activate even low remaining muscular strength
  • reduce circulatory disturbance
  • keep your body agile and flexible
  • improve digestion and urine excretion
  • eliminate oedema (water in your legs)
  • increase the performance of your heart and circulation
  • mobilise your entire metabolism
  • often reduce pain symptoms
  • affect your mental stability, well-being and sleep positively
