The following modes of exercise are possible with THERA-vital:
- Active exerciser
= Exercising with your own muscle power (as with an ergometer cycle)
- Assistive exerciser
= Exercising with remaining muscle power (missing activity is compensated by motor support)
- Passive exerciser
= Exercising without remaining muscle power (a motor moves legs or arms)
- Symmetry exerciser
= Exercising with right-left-differences in legs (e.g. for stroke patients)
- Isokinetic exerciser
= Exercising at constant speed and automatic adaptation of resistance (variable strength input)
- Power exerciser
= Exercising at a constant power level (parameter in watt) and automatic adaptation of resistance
