Since it was founded in 1990 medica Medizintechnik GmbH has consistently focused on the development and distribution of THERApeutical movement exercisers. From its seat in Southern Germany a worldwide operating company, gaining approximately 60% of the sales volume abroad and selling in over 45 countries all across the world, has evolved.

Design and development are aimed to meet the needs of the users who make constantly higher demands on the therapy equipment.

The medica engineering team rises to this challenge with pleasure and today medica enjoys deservedly the reputation of being the “innovation leader”. Medica has accomplished groundbreaking developments such as the first exerciser controlled by a microprocessor in 1993, the smallest motorized exerciser in 1997, the first symmetric trainer in 2001, and the first standing trainer with BALANCE function in 2003. It was always our aim to combine the user's needs with modern technology and ergonomic knowledge.

As a quality-conscious company medica is certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2000 and DIN EN ISO 13485. All products have TÜV- (Technical Inspection Agency) and CE-approval.
